The 5 photos on the left are images that I shot at my childhood home and the images on the right are in my current apartment.<\/p>\n

We spend a lot of our time in different locations, some have multiple homes and some never call a place home. Days can sometimes blur together for me. For this final project, I wanted to establish a cohesive series of photos that represented my space. The space I spend time in and the spaces I give the title \u201chome\u201d. Instead of merely seeing each space through the eyes of the lens, I decided to pick words that represented each location. Each photo is taken at a different time of day, five were taken in my forever home and the other five were taken in my current apartment, my home away from home.<\/em><\/p>\n I took each image behind glass sometimes plastic, I wanted the dust, scratches and fingerprints to be seen because it gave me the feeling of home. Of a place being lived in, I also loved the way the plastic distorted the image I was capturing. My reflection is also sometimes captured as well, I thought it fit well with the topic, it also made me think of looking at an exhibit, like time has stopped behind the glass.
